With this service we will update your infotainment firmware to the latest version. This is known to fix issues such as Android Auto connection issues on early MY15-16.5 vehicles.
This service can be offered in two ways, you can visit us in Sandylane AutoParc, Newcastle upon Tyne (NE3 5HE) and have the update carried out on the vehicle for £59.99, or you can post us your module. There is an additional £29 fee for postage updates however due to the additional work required to update the module on the bench.

This is due to the specialist equipment needed to program your car and the tooling we need to carry out the work.
Rest assured however, the work will take around 25 minutes on a hatchback model (Corsa-E/Adam/Astra-K) and 1 1/2 hours on a tourer.

The day before arrival we will contact you as a reminder of the appointment, please ensure you give us at least 24 hours notice for cancellations, "no show" appointments will be blacklisted from any further work, this is due to the high demand for appointments.
On the day, we ask that you ensure your car interior is clean, the boot is empty, or if possible you can remove the items while we carry out the work (if having a reverse camera fitted).
What can I do during the fitting?
Greggs
Accross the road from or workshop there is a Greggs with indoor seating available, you are able to sit and have a coffee while we work on your vehicle.
Waiting with the vehicle
You are more than welcome to wait with the vehicle while we carry out the work, please note due to insurance purposes however you cannot enter our workshop.
Toilet Facilies
There are public toilet facilies available on the right hand side of the Mercedes-Benz Specialist workshop.
